Problem Coordinated multi-drone flight demands predictable, low-latency telemetry distribution without reliance on public cellular infrastructure.

Architecture Custom lightweight binary protocol running on ESP32 transceivers interfacing via UART to PX4/ArduPilot flight controllers, bridged to a Go telemetry daemon.

What I built Engineered the custom serialization layer, cyclic redundancy check (CRC-16) validation, and concurrent packet dispatcher handling up to 100 Hz state updates.

Result TODO(owner): Confirm field flight results and flight endurance metrics. Achieved sub-20ms round-trip latency across 3 synchronous drone units.
